Aromatherapy Candle Making
The difference between aromatherapy candles and scented candles lies in the fact that aromatherapy candles are
made with natural essential oil extracts, whereas scented candles incorporate natural and synthetic fragrances,
potpourri, etc. Aromatherapy candles produce aromatic candle scents designed to assist in reaching meditation,
relaxation, stress relief, inspiration, and heightened awareness.
Methods:
Aromatherapy candles can be:
- set in molds,
- made of rolled beeswax
- or dipped right in your own home.
Alternatively you could simply place two drops of aromatherapy oils near the candle's wick and light you
wish to add your favorite aromatherapy oils to an unscented candle. As the candle burns it will diffuse and the
fragrance of your aromatherapy oils will permeate the whole room.
